Proton car with NGV to be launched soon!
This news is from the star online. According to the news, Proton is considering fitting in NGV equipment into the WAJA, SAGA, PERSONA by the year end to reduce dependency on petrol. Proton says that currently they are working for it.
The NGV kit will be fitted in during the production and that means it will comes with warranty by Proton too! No more spending money outside to get NGV kit which might void your car warranty!

This is smart move by Proton as now installing NGV kit is a trend since the petrol price is rising. This will directly placed Proton at more competitive place compare with other make. Proton also reveal that the NGV kit will be competitively priced as the company have ample sales volume.
The Proton car fitted with NGV kit will be offered to taxi driver first at the early stage before it available to all car buyer. Proton also planning to develop NGV kit for earlier Proton model.
Now, Proton also currently on exercise on reducing the Proton model defect rate. Lets hope the staff training will worked this time. We wish to see Proton back alive!
