Recently, Nokia has unveil some new 2008 model in Showcase Nokia 2008 event held in Sydney, Australia. The top range model will be the N96 which is the new flagship model of Nokia after its successor, N95. There is also 3 other model released which is Nokia N78, Nokia 6210 Navigator and Nokia 6220 Classic. For your information, all this model will comes to our market during second half of 2008.


Nokia N96




N78 6210 Navigator 6220 Classic


All these 4 model will declared a high resolution camera phone era. The Nokia N96 and 6220 Classic is powered by 5 Megapixel camera while N78 and 6210 Navigator is born with 3.2 megapixel camera.


N96


Lets us talk about the highest model of the range which is the N96. There is alot of wow factor in this machine. Now, let me tell you one by one.



First of all, the biggest selling point is its 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens that will also record DVD quality VGA video recording at 30 FPS. The camera will be accompanied by Dual LED flash that can also be used when video recording.




Another key selling point is its 16GB internal storage. Did you say wow? May be you did. Besides, the N96 also come with High capacity micro SD! The highest capacity of micro SD available in our market is 8GB. If you buy the 8GB micro-SDHC, you will get 24GB storage on your phone!


This phone also comes with DVB-H tuner which allows you to stream the tv program just like on TV. Currently, U-mobile is providing the DVB-H tv service. For sure you will have to pay for watch the DVB-H program on your phone.




Being an entertainment phone, this phone come with a large 2.8inch screen. The media format that this N96 can support is wide too! Format such as MPEG-4, WMV and flash video can be run! A "kick stand" also attached on the back of this machine for your convenience of hands free viewing.




Another feature is the GPS. You will never lost in city or jungle with this function as far as your phone battery is not run out! The satelite map is always there to assist you. Besides that, with the N96 intergrated GPS, users can tag their pictures with location data and share them with their online communities. The WiFi also comes in standard with this machine.


As the conclusion, i really think the N96 is the best ever multimedia phone or perhaps we should call it portable PC.

N78

N78 is the smaller sibbling of N96. It feature a 3.2 megapixel camera with carl zeiss lenses, intergrated gps, WiFi, 72mb internal memory, HSDPA, 2.4inch display and also a micro SD expansion slot.

The specialty of this N78 is its built in intergrated FM transmitter function. This function will allow us to transmit our music played in phone to other FM radio just like listening to radio. With this function, you can easily play the song in your phone through the car speaker, or home theather system at home.

6210 Navigator

Nokia 6210 Navigator is a slider form phone which have built in intergrated GPS function. What special about this devices is the compass function that embed on GPS system.

Both function accompany with accelerometer which able to measures changes in direction and orientation, the built-in compass add convinient for you to follow the map on the phone as you move.

When the phone delivered to our market, the local map will be preloaded in the 1GB memory card that comes with the phone package. Other features of this phone are such as 3.2-megapixel camera, MP3 player and stereo FM radio.

6220 Classic

The selling point of this phone is its 5-megapixel camera with Xenon flash and Carl Zeiss lens. The Nokia claim that this phone will be on par with many digital camera in the market. Besides that, this phone also have TV output function which allow you to view photos on TV!

Thats the end for my personal thought of this 4 new model from Nokia. Im looking forward to own the N96 once it is released.
