Now, i just can conclude that all that is just a unconfirmed rumour. So, i just wish to show you all about how our future Perodua Kenari will look like.

Posibility 1: Daihatsu Move

The previous generation Kenari is based on Daihatsu Move, so the new version might be based on Daihatsu Move too. The picture that i posted below is newest generation Daihatsu Move which is powered by 660cc engine equipted with momo sterling and also a engine push start button which is the first in its class.

Compare to the current Perodua Kenari which is also older generation Move, the new generation has a more aerodynamic design and also more spacious than its successor.

However, when the Daihatsu Move comes into production in Malaysia, i have doubt that the Momo sterling and engine push start button will be available. The engine also might be upgraded to 1little engine. We can also expect that the Perodua will redesign the headlight, grille, brake light and sport rims to look more localized and different from japanese version.

Daihatsu Move is a slim mini MPV which only have 660cc engine to make it fall under k-car category. The shape had similiarity with our Perodua Kenari which is also previous generation Daihatsu Move. As we can see, the new version had improve its aerodynamic make it look less squarish than our Perodua Kenari.

Interior wise, the new Daihatsu Move features a center meter panel. Some will like it but some might hate it. It do give better view when driving with this feature. Besides that, the gear position also placed to centre console box that will make the driver seat and passenger seat to be connected. You can see how work on picture below if you do not understand what i say.

The back seat space also improved than older generation. The leg space is comparable with alot bigger car like myvi, persona and so on.

There is also a engine start stop button function on the new Daihatsu Move. With this function, you do not turn your key but just simply press the button to start or stop the engine.

The engine displacement for the Daihatsu Move is 660cc. However, we are expected to see it available in 1000cc when it launched in Malaysia as Perodua Kenari. However, 660cc gives alot of advantages such as fuel consumption.

The front lamp of this new move is really stunning and capture lots of eyes. It will be nice if fitted with HID bulb but however in production model, i guess it will just be fitted with normal bulb due to cost cutting measures. As we can see, the back of move is identical to our old Perodua Kenari with minor changes.

Here are the end of my post of this posible upcoming Perodua Kenari replacement model. Take note! It just a rumour, there are no official confirmation that new Kenari will be out.
