An Intro to Lang Tengah Island... Im on vacation there on 10 May to 13 May...

Lang Tengah, where this name come from? The Lang stands for "helang" in malays which means eagle. It's actually means an eagle resting in the middle on the island.

It is claimed as the Terengganu state best kept island. It has sandy white beach and clear blue sea. Lang Tengah is the best spot for divers as it contains varieties of coral and marine life. The untouched tropical jungle is also an ideal place for jungle trekking.

Well, where Lang Tengah located? Lang Tengah is located off Terengganu coast. It is situated right between Perhentian Island and Redang Island.

It's strategic location situated beside Redang allows the visitor to visit the Redang Island Marine Park too! Lang Tengah is claimed to have better coral view compare to Redang. However, this is to be judged after my trip from Lang Tengah which is on 11 May!

One thing for sure is we can enjoy a peace in mind when we are on Lang Tengah Island being its nature environment. But, please be fast when placing your book when you want to go Lang Tengah as there is only 3 resort there! Accomodation is really limited here.

There are only 3 resorts located there which is D'Coconut Lagoon Resort, Redang Lang Island Resort and Lang Sari Resort.

The best facilities resort in Lang Tengah is D'Coconut Lagoon Resort. While the Redang Lang Island Resort is ranked second. The less equipted resort is the Lang Sari Resort. The price for this 3 resorts also varies for this 3 resort. So for sure the better resort you want, the more price you will need to pay!

How much do you cost to travel to Lang Tengah?

Here are their price list for 3 day 2 night package:

RM290 (Quad Sharing)

Bus transfer from KL to Kuala Terengganu usually cost us RM60 for 2 way trip. Then you can take a taxi to the jetty for departure to Lang Tengah. Chartered bus also available if you are in big group.

Here comes the end for my preview of Lang Tengah Island. I will personally go to this beautiful island on 11 May and trips will end in 13 May. When im back, i will write another review of this island after my visit. For your information, i will stay in Redang Lang Island Resort.
