In chinese, this type of bamboo is called “富贵竹”. If translate in english will be "wealth bamboo"? Im not sure, just simply translate as i only know the chinese name through my mum.

For your information, the bamboo flower only flower in the night and the flower will die on the second day morning. It's smell just like the jasmine flower. Its really nice. As you can see in the picture above, one bamboo flower contains alot of little flower.

The bottom of the picture which you can see some flower is dried is the flower that already dead after flower in previous night. While in the middle you can found alot of tiny flower. On the top you can see some green flower which it is yet to flower. The bamboo flower will transform to little flower before it die by stage.

There is a chinese proverb say that “富贵花开,竹报平安”. All my neighbours also say that it will be a good sign to the wealth of the family. May be is due to that proverb. Now, my house is always flooded with neighbour who want to withness the flower.

I really hope that the bamboo's flower really will give my family some wealth but i always believe that work hard is the best way to gain wealth.
