PROTON SAGA BLM CRASHED!!! Seriously damaged!!!

Wow! Just now i was checking my mail box which i seldom touch, i saw my friend send me an e-mail dated on 19 March.

Guess what i see? I see a completely damaged Proton Saga BLM! Yes! It is Saga BLM crashed on a Honda EX5 motorcycle.

If you want to see the brand new Saga crash test, here is goes! I promise this crash test is purely "Buatan Malaysia" by its own driver and it is 100% real.

Now let see what happen to the Saga:

The front view of the crashed Saga

The bumper and the bonnet of the car completely damanged

The side view, we can see the bumper of the car is lost.

Here is what happen to the Honda EX5 after the crash:

From the picture, we can see that the protection on the passenger and pedestrian is fairly good. Although some of you might argue that the crashed Saga BLM's bumper are gone and the bonnet are damaged, so why do i say the car protection is good?

Actually, modern car are designed to have a crumple zone. What is crumple zone? Crumple zone is the area on the front , side and back of the car which can absorb the crash impact by crumple up in the crumple zone. This can help distribute the crash impact so that the impact wont go in to cabin space.

So you can see that although the car has crashed with the motorcycle, but the car cabin is remained nicely without any damage. So in another word, the passenger of the car is safer.

Imagine if without the crumple zone to absorb the crash force, i believe more damage will be happen to the cabin space as the force are directly go into cabin space without crumple zone to absorb the force!

Overall, i think the Saga is doing well. Well, thats all for my post and have a nice day!

what? am i missing something here? a car hit ONLY a bike and it was crush to this point, n u still say it has a good crumple zone? If it hit a lorry, the crumple zone would be useless. dun buy msia cars, if u treasure ur life. just my opinion.
