MYVI 2008 Facelift!!! Unsure whether it is true.

Hello, these day i was browsing the net about the Myvi 2008 facelift and finally i found it! It is so cool, so i would like to share it with you all here! The Myvi is speculated that will have a facelifted version somewhere around third quarter of 2008. So may be we will see this model released in the market soon!

Here it goes! Introduce you the new version Myvi!

Exterior wise at the front, the new Myvi will featuring new bumper design, new air intake grill, new fog lamp & new smoked head lamp!

Personally, i love this design! The fog lamp made the car look so energetic! The smoked headlamp give the car some fierce look! The air intake grill also featuring zoom zoom characteristic which i love to see in a car!

The side profile of the new 2008 version Myvi is more or less the same with the pre-facelifted version with just some minor colour changes on the sport rim which currently featured in Myvi SE!

Same sport rim as the Myvi SE, just colour changed! I personally prefer the previous colour found on Myvi SE, the new colour look too dull.

Another side profile picture. Look! There is a new LED tail lamp design for the facelifted Myvi! Now the tail lamp is in silver colour! So futuristic design! I love that colour! The current red LED tail lamp look too ordinary on the Myvi. We do hope some changes.

Besides that, the rear bumper of the facelifted Myvi also have some cosmetic changes again! Seems its an upgrade from the current Myvi SE design. Or maybe in another word, this might be new facelifted Myvi SE? Im not sure about this.

Interior wise, there are some changes too! The facelifted Myvi will feature new headunit and new colour trim for interior. The speed meter now is in red colour! More sporty i would like to say.

As you can see, the rpm meter now show maximum rpm limit of 6,800rpm! Its higher than current engine! The top speed show in the meter is 220km/h! A 1.5 liter engine perhaps? Or may be a turbo K3VET engine? We not sure yet but i personally think the new version of Myvi will have higher performance engine.

New steering wheel colour! Same as the previous Myvi SE but with red lining! Cool!

The seats also comes wrapped with black leather with red lining! Sporty!

Oh no! Although the previous head unit on the Myvi is looks like toy, the new one definitely not look good either. I would like to see if a better futuristic design intergrated head unit being attached in the new facelifted Myvi.

Now, lets talk about the engine might me offer in the facelifted Myvi. Speculations that Myvi will comes with a 1.5 liter engine had been circulated for long. Seems this is posible now! As the Perodua plant now also producing 1.5 liter Toyota Avanza. May be they will use the same 1.5 liter engine as Toyota Avanza to the facelifted Myvi. It can help them cut development cost.

Another posibility will be a turbo 1.3 liter engine coded K3VET be installed. There are alot of Myvi owner swap their engine with this K3VET engine! So i think there is also posible for Perodua to do so by fit the K3VET as default engine in Myvi.

The last posibility will be the Perodua continue use the old K3VE engine in the new facelifted Myvi. If it is so, it will be a big dissapointment for alot of Myvi fans. I will be dissapointed too because i wish to have a higher performance Myvi.

In the picture i found over the internet, seems the new Myvi facelifted version will also come with new colour variant which is yellow and orange! The orange looks quite similiar with the Proton's orange colour found in Gen2 and Satria Neo.

Well, here i conclude my post about the new Myvi facelifted version. Whether this model will be out or not, we will find it out! Its rumoured to be launched somewhere around 2008's third quarter, so lets wait and see! Well, here i end my post, thanks for viewing my blog and have a nice day!
