Another wave of inflation?

Today, i would like to discuss about the effect of petrol hike in the inflation.

Seems! We will facing another high rate of inflation again!

Lets say about petrol, previously, you pay RM50 for one tank of petrol, now, you will need to pay RM70! Imagine one month you need to visit 5 time to refuel, you will have to pay RM100 extra per month! Oh wait! Is there salary increment?

Lets talk about chicken rice at the roadside, previously, there are just RM3.70, but who dare guarantee the price will not goes up? As the price of petrol is increasing dramatically. Perhaps one month later we will have to have a RM5 chicken rice instead of RM3.70? Lets hope it do not happen.

If you notice, all the daily household product price had increase in this year, as example, the Malaysian's favourite choco drink, last time, 2KG economy pack is just sold at RM22, now, It is sold at RM29! RM7 increase! Again, where is salary increment?

For electricity, there will be increment of price for usage when it is over 200 unit! The first 200 unit price remain unchanged at RM43.60. But any usage beyond that will have increment in price! May be this is fair because the one who use less need not suffer from electricity price hike. But nowadays, most family consume more than 200 unit! Imagine one family with 6 member, it is hard for them to have low usage.

The inflation rate is endanger to a country, unemployment rate will increase because of this, lets imagine all company force to reduce worker amount in order to fight against inflation, where the Malaysian get the job? In the condition that the foreign labour is getting more and more in our country.

Regarding taxi driver, should they continue this job? Previously, there already suffer low income, now, what will happen after petrol price hike? Maybe they should use NGV gas, but NGV conversion does cost money and no one sure whether the NGV price will hike. If you notice, there is taxi driven by foreign worker. I wonder how they can get the taxi permit. It increase competition.

For sure, we must not too rely on government subsidies. But it must be removed on the right timing. Now, i think the goverment must try to increase the Malaysian's productivity, reduce the hiring of foreign worker. Increase the peoples salary is priority job of government. When salary up, no one will cares about inflation.
