The PDRM is the few Police force in the world that will use such powerful Evolution X as their patrol car! It really prove the PDRM is able to run some great patrol car to fight the crime!

Since last December, we had been heard that PDRM is planning to buy 25 unit of Evo X to be used in high speed chase job and escorting purpose. The photo's above prove that! Note the Polis harzard light on top of this Evo X! This cool machine is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 liter engine that can produce 280hp!

So the criminal should better watch out! The Polis is able to hunt you with better patrol car now.

Proton MPV spyshot (fully uncovered!)

Yeah! Few days ago, the Proton MPV fully uncovered spyshot had been leaked to all over the net on major car forum and also some blogs.

Here, i would like to share the Proton MPV spyshot with you guys!

White color Proton MPV - Another Mitsubishi inspire model? It has the Mitsubishi Grandis shadow with it! For your information, Proton and Mitsubishi had made an agreement that Proton MPV and Persona will be rebadged as Mitsubishi in other countries while Proton will rebadge the Mitsubishi Lancer as Proton Waja replacement model.

From the picture, we can see that this MPV is huge and its even bigger than the Toyota Wish which the Proton MPV benchmark against! Besides that, 5 spoke rim is used in this MPV model. The door of this MPV are normal swing type and not slider form.

A shot of the center dashboard. A very plain and boring colour! Lets hope this is not the final production version. The center dash in the picture look real ugly! Some texture is needed on the center dash! Gear shifter position of the Proton MPV is located on the dashboard which make it more convenient to shift gear.

The Proton MPV steering comes with audio control buttons! Besides that, handful of storage area are available in the dash area such as card holder, and another small storage compartment below it.

The meter panel of Proton MPV. The meter show a high RPM red line at 7000rpm! This shows that the MPV will rev really high. The top speed as shown in the meter is only 180kmh. If this mpv top speed is only 180kmh, it surely will dissapoint many of us but what we can expect from a MPV with 1.6 liter engine? For your information, the Proton MPV will be fitted with Campro CPS 1.6 liter engine.

Another color version of Proton MPV. From this picture, we can see that there is a side turn signal on the side mirror itself!

Well, for your information, the Proton MPV lauching date will be somewhere in April 2009! This is 1 month delay than its proposed March launching that we heard earlier. Expected price of this Proton MPV will be around 75K.

Buckle up your seat belt...

Yeah! After ages of discussion, JPJ finally set out the rule of back seat belt. Which some thinks its reasonable while some think its not.

Like it or not, starting from 1st January 2009, all the back passenger of the car produced after year 1995 are required to buckle up their seat belt too! If you did not buckle up, you may be sued to the court and fined RM2000 or 1 year of imprisonment!

RM2000 and 1 year of imprisonment seems really too heavy for the road user. Personally, i think 1 year of imprisonment is not logical, failure to buckle up isn't a crime right? RM2000 of summon i personally also feel its too heavy, cant it be set at RM300 as its already can set a big awareness of the public. I think no one will wish to loose money from their pocket because of not buckle up the seat belt.

However, we have to agree that by buckle up the seat belt, we may save ourself and also the front passenger's life in the accident!

Your car is produced after year 1995 but do not have seat belt?

Don't worry, now you may get your free seatbelt installed at you manufacturer's service center! For Perodua, all model that do not comes with seat belt will be given this free seat belt. While for Proton, Gen-2 and Saga that produced between year 2004 to 2008 will get free seat belt! Meanwhile, Honda had yet to released any plan for free installation on its Honda City which do not come with rear centre seatbelt yet. So Honda driver, be patient for them to announce.

So everyone! Please buckle up your seat belt and it will save lifes.

New Perodua MPV? Daihatsu will launch new MPV model in 1st quarter 2009!

Yeah! After Daihatsu and Toyota revealed a new 7 seater MPV model in Japan named Toyota Passo Sette.

Daihatsu also announced that they had shortlist two agencies to put their new MPV model on sales on first quarter next year! The name for Daihatsu version of Toyota Passo Sette are not yet reveal. So lets wait what name the Daihatsu want to call the new MPV, perhaps Daihatsu Sirion Sette? =P
With this news also means the MPV i mentioned in the previos post are likely to make way in to INDONESIA! In another words, that also mean that Perodua MPV most probally will based on that model too!

Below are the photo of Toyota Passo Sette (Daihatsu version name uncomfirmed.):

For your information, this new MPV model are based on our Perodua Myvi / Daihatsu Boon (sirion) / Toyota Passo platform. I think everyone should know that actually this 3 model is the same car. Now, the Daihatsu and Toyota had built another MPV version from that sub-compact hatchback. It really look promising.

Power by 1.5 litter which produce 109ps, it will be just fine to move 7 people. A little bit of underpower will be still expected i believe. This MPV lengh is between 4180 - 4190mm and the height is 1620mm.

Daihatsu shortlists two agencies

by Asiya Bakht 9-Oct-08, 12:56

JAKARTA - Japanese carmaker Daihatsu Motor has short listed two agencies, Oze and Grey Advertising, after calling five agencies to pitch for a car launch brief.

The automobile company is looking for an agency to promote a new MPV car model in Indonesia.
The company’s existing four roster agencies include Dwi Sapta, BN Pratama, Macs 909 and Oze. Daihatsu, which considers Suzuki as its biggest competitor in the Indonesian market, will launch the unnamed brand in the first quarter of next year. The carmaker’s most popular brand in Indonesia is Gran Max, while the country’s largest selling car is Toyota Avanza.

Astra Daihatsu Motor, the Indonesian distributor of Daihatsu Motor, recently announced plans to lift domestic sales by 50 per cent in 2008 to 75,000 and also boost its exports to 46,000 units this year. Indonesia's automotive market is currently recovering from a slump in 2006 after the government lifted fuel prices.

Vios White & 2 more colour will be launch!

Ya! Toyota is going to launch 3 more new colour of the Vios! Lately, it had been spotted on advertisement shooting session. Which also mean that it is going to launch anytime!

This picture is shown in Toyota Malaysia website as advertisement! Did you see? It is a white colour Vios! I suspect this is the long waiting Pearl White variant!

Pearl white is found in the Toyota Camry and also our own local Myvi SE which is just facelifted last Friday.

Besides that, the new Toyota Vios will be also available in dark grey and dark gold! Personally, i like the pearl white. Too bad i already bought a Vios last July! T.T However black is cool to my eye too! So still no regrets! =P

Ok! Off topic abit. As we see in the advertisement showing the white Vios along with a Corolla Altis. Toyota is now offering 3 year free service voucher for purchase made between 1st to 31st October! I suspect the white Vios will be launch anytime from now.

Perhaps it will be launch next week? Anyone can clarify this? Since Toyota just facelifted 3 model last week which is Fortuner, Hilux and Innova.

Perodua MPV will look like this? Toyota/Daihatsu new joint design MPV!

Yeah! It had been a long time after we heard rumour that the new Perodua MPV will based on Viva or Myvi which i also not sure.
-

However, thanks to my reader anonymous which provide some useful information for us. Recently, Toyota had launched a new mpv which is a global model together with Daihatsu. It is a 7 seater MPV with lengh of 4180mm - 4190mm depends on spec. This new MPV will set to debut in Japan market in this December!
-

For your information, this new MPV model are based on our Perodua Myvi / Daihatsu Boon / Toyota Passo platform. I think everyone should know that actually this 3 model is the same car.
-

According to the Perodua tradition, this model might be bring in to our market just like the Myvi which is also Daihatsu Boon and Toyota Passo.
-

-

From that picture, did you sense some Myvi DNA? The headlight have similiarity with Daihatsu Move and Toyota Ractis which basically is the same car. While the front mask are similiar with Toyota Wish! Baby wish in the making?
-

For the height, this new mpv built by Toyota and Daihatsu is 1620mm and have similiar side profile with the Nissan Note.
-

-

The rear light of the new MPV will be mounted on C-pillar which is similiar with the current Perodua Kenari, Viva, Myvi and also the coming Proton MPV.
-

Besides that, from the picture shown above, we can sure that there will be no sliding door features on the new MPV. Maybe this will dissapoint some MPV fans as current Toyota Sienta had it.
-

Apart from that, reader anonymous also told me that the meter panel will be mounted on centre position same as the Toyota Vios. This feature are said to provide us better road visibility which i think it only help a little bit as i drive a Vios.
-

-
The performance wise, the new MPV will be using the 1.5 litre DOHC engine which will produce 109ps! Perhaps it is the same engine used in our Vios as it give same output level.
-
While for the transmission, it is powered by either a manual transmission or a 4 speed auto transmission which do not give any surprise to us! However, some variant of this new MPV will be powered by 4WD! Lets hope this will come in to Malaysia too! It sure will be a fun car to drive!

So now if the Perodua MPV will based on this model, lets see how Perodua will localised it. From what reader anonymous told and my observation with Myvi, mostly the Perodua will do some cosmetic changes on the front grille, headlight, rearlight, and also the position of the rear number plate.
-
The brand new Perodua MPV will set to debut somewhere in September 2009 which is less than 1 year from now! So lets open our eye to wait more spy shot coming in!
-

Fuel price down by 10 cent on 25 September 2008!

Yeah! Heres some latest update about the fuel price.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi announced that fuel price will be discussed today.

Just now, Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Minister Datuk Shahrir Abdul Samad announced that the fuel price will drop by 10 cent! Effective on 25 September 2008 which is tomorrow.

New fuel price (effective from 25/9/2008)

Ron97 - RM2.45 (23/8/08 price: RM2.55, 4/6/08: RM2.70, Pre 4/6/08: RM1.92)
Ron92 - RM2.30 (23/8/08 price: RM2.40, 4/6/08: RM2.62, Pre 4/6/08: RM1.88)
Diesel - RM2.40 (23/8/08 price: RM2.50, 4/6/08: RM2.58, Pre 4/6/08: RM1.58)

This might be good news for the vehicle owner out there since the increase of 78 cent on 4th June earlier on this year.

However, the price now for Ron97 still 53 cent higher than RM1.92 per littre last time. The price of Ron92 still 42 cent higher than last time, Diesel still 82 cent higher than last time. Well, lets hope the international crude oil price will constantly decline so that our government will lower the fuel price.

Let's hope that all motorist dream of RM1.92 per littre will achieve one day. We hope for lower fuel price for lower inflation rate.

Mitsubishi Colt 2009 will be launched in 2008 Paris Motor Show!

Recently, Mitsubishi Motor released a preview picture of an unknown Mitsubishi model. It is a shark-like nose similiar with Lancer with rounder headlight.

This looks cool right? Actually, this model should be the 2009 Mitsubishi Colt! Evidence had been found when this car is being found undisguished in Berlin, Germany for promotional photo shooting!

In this picture, it is almost certified that the preview image by Mitsubishi is the new facelifted COLT! For your information, Colt always will have the design cue of Lancer. This time, the designer incorporate Lancer's shark-like nose to this little sub-compact model!

This is definitely like it or hate it design. Personally, i do not think joining a sharp nose to a round car is a good idea.

The rear end do not have much changes beside the new tail lamp design. Overall, the back still look like current COLT. However, the front had changed significantly. Engine specification is yet to be revealed by Mitsubishi, it might be 1.3 litter or 1.5 engine like the current COLT.

The COLT is set to debut in 2008 Paris Motor Show in early October. It will be placed in the market with the rival such as Toyota Yaris, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Fiat Punto and Ford Fiesta. Since this model had been put for advertisement photo shooting, the launch should be very soon perhaps right after the Paris Motor Show in Europe.

This is 2009 Perodua MPV? Toyota Sienta 2009 launched in Japan!

Thanks for reader anonymous for providing this information! Appreciate it so much! Hope all reader love your information ya!

Yeah! Few days ago, a reader of my blog posted some information to share with us.

According to the magazine source he provided, the new generation Toyota Sienta will make its debut in December this year in Japan! Since months ago, a lot rumour already say that our new Perodua MPV will be based on this model!

http://www.mag-x.com/f-contents/0810/index.html

The rear shot of the new generation Toyota Sienta! Only this picture available at the moment, i will update once i had it!

For your information, the new Toyota Sienta is designed and manufactured by Daihatsu and will be sold under both Daihatsu and Toyota brand!

Another spyshot, is this the new Toyota Sienta? Unsure. But the newspaper claim it as Toyota Sienta being assembled at Takaoka production plant in Tokyo City, Japan. (Source: www.ohio.com/business/19202814.html) *UPDATE: It is TOYOTA RACTIS AND PORTE being assembled, not Toyota Sienta! Thanks reader anonymous pointing this out! My mistake for not verify the source first before posting. =P

The new Toyota Sienta will use Toyota Passo/ Perodua Myvi extended chasis! In another words, this resemble the earlier rumours i get from Mr5zal where the new MPV might based on Myvi / viva platform! The overall lengh of this new Toyota Sienta are expected to remain as 4100mm.

According to the magazine, the front of this Sienta will look like the Toyota Wish. While that, the tail lamp will have a vertical design extending from top to down as you can see at the picture above! For your information, Proton MPV also having similiar tail lamp design. Sliding door function of this Sienta are expected to be maintained.

Engine wise, this MPV is powered by 1.5 engine which is the same one use in Toyota Db. However, if it comes to Malaysia as Perodua MPV, Perodua might use Toyota Avanza's 1.5 engine in it to save cost. The closest rival of this MPV will be the Honda Freed that also has 1.5 engine. The 1.5 engine in this Toyota Sienta will be sufficient as it is 6 seater MPV.

Honda Freed

So in conclusion, there are highly probable that the coming Perodua MPV might based on the new generation Toyota Sienta since the Toyota Sienta are using same chasis with Perodua MYVI!

Perodua MPV is expected to be launched somewhere around September 2009 while the Proton MPV will be out in March 2009. Since there is only 1 year away from launching day, i believe we should see more information leaked soon. So lets wait by patient to see what Proton and Perodua offer for their MPV model.

Proton MPV spyshot!

I believe everyone is noticed with the news that the new PROTON MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) will be launch next March!

In recent press release, Proton also announce that the Proton MPV is ready for testing. From the insider information i get, Proton had built 500 unit for the testing purpose.

So, i believe if our eye are sharp, we might notice this Proton MPV running in the town for testing! So lets bring camera and look around for the shadow of Proton MPV!

Hot spot for Proton's vehicle testing: PLUS (esp. Tanjung Malim), Kesas, MRR2, Genting.

Spyshot had been leaked all over the net, this is the most recent spyshot that might be the real Proton MPV!

The Proton MPV is designed by Proton and LG CNS (The same company that designed new Proton Saga.). It is benchmarking against Toyota Wish. At earlier development stage, Proton also bought in 8 unit Toyota Wish to use for testing purpose.

Unknown MPV model spotted in Korea. This might be the new Proton MPV since LG CNS is based in Korea. It had similiar hood, roof line design and bumper design with other leaked spyshot too!

According to Proton, the new Proton MPV will be powered by 1.6 litter Campro CPS engine! In the future, turbodiesel engine model might be added in too! Proton planning to sell the MPV at the price of RM75,000.

For your information, the Toyota will phased out its current Toyota Wish with new design under new platform next year! So in another words, Toyota might sell current Toyota Wish platform to Proton to be used as a base for Proton MPV!

Proton MPV chasis displayed during Proton Technology week.

There is also a design sketch of Proton MPV produced by a forum user:

Summarised all these information, Theophilus Chin had use photoshop to produce some photo of new Proton MPV! It might look very close to what Proton MPV look like!

With this, i believe everyone should know how the new Proton MPV will look like! It is low slung MPV design which is exactly same class as Toyota Wish. It has similiar lengh too!

Since the Proton MPV will be roll out from the factory for testing, i believe the lucky one will spot them in eye. So lets wait and see!

Hybrid car price to be dropped! Civic hybrid? Toyota Prius? Gen2 hybrid?

Yes, in yesterday Malaysia's 2009 budget presentation, our prime minister reveal some good news for us.

One of the biggest best news that benefited the motoring industries is the waive of import tax on hybrid vehicle! Only 50% local tax will be imposed on those vehicle. This applicable to hybrid vehicle imported by franchise holder with engine capacity lower than 2000c.c.

This tax reduction effective from 1st September 2008 to 31st December 2010. After that, government are expecting the production of hybrid vehicle to be CKD in Malaysia.

Currently, the only hybrid vehicle available in Malaysia is the Honda Civic Hybrid. It is powered by a 1.3 litter gasoline engine and also an electric motor. The price currently are RM162,800. While in Langkawi, the Civic hybrid is sold at only RM100,800!

With the waived of import tax, may be we could get the Civic hybrid at same price as Civic 1.8 model? Let's wait Honda's announcement for it.

The waive of import tax on hybrid vehicle will definitely increase the hybrid vehicle sales in our country! Imagine if both normal Civic and Civic hybrid sold at same price, which one you will go for?

Both produce same power output while Civic hybrid consume lesser fuel than normal Civic! I bet everyone will definitely opt for Civic hybrid to reduce petrol bills! The Civic will able to run 31km with 1 litter of fuel!

In general, hybrid vehicle will consist of a normal gasoline engine and supported by an electric motor to boost the output. The emission level of the hybrid vehicle will be minimal and the petrol usage are 50% lesser.

With this move, i believe other car manufacturer also will consider importing hybrid vehicle into our country. I believe UMW Toyota Malaysia will now consider import the Toyota Prius hybrid into our country. Anyone can guess how much is Toyota Prius will be sold if it is here in Malaysia?

This also post a threat for Proton to come out with hybrid vehicle as soon as posible to remain competitive! Currently, Proton already developed Proton Gen 2 Eve which is a hybrid vehicle. Now its only matter of time when Proton will able to make the hybrid vehicle to be ready for sale. I believe it should be fast through the help of its subsidiary, Lotus.

So in conclusion, the tax waival of hybrid vehicle will definitely benefit the consumer as now we could get the hybrid vehicle which consume lesser petrol at a lower price. It will also help in improving the air quality in our city. Perhaps one day when all car are hybrid vehicle, sure the KL air will be cleaner.

Honda City 03 - 05 model will get free rear seat belt!

Today, a MOU had been signed between Honda Malaysia and JKJR on the rear seat belt campaign and promotion on road safety.

Malaysia are planning to introduce rear seat belt campaign which will take effect on 1 January 2009. All car model which produced after year 1995 except Perodua Kancil shall be fitted with seat belt and all passenger are required to put it on.

For the rear seat belt issue, there are 25,480 units of Honda City produced between year 2003 to 2005 which do not have REAR CENTRE SEAT BELT. For your information, the Honda City produced during this period only have 2 tri-point ELR seat belt at the rear seat and no rear centre seat belt.

These car will receive free installation of rear centre seat belt free of charge! The installation of rear centre seat belt for affected Honda cars will begin in October this year and will be conducted in batches. Honda Malaysia will inform the owners on further details in the near future.

In commenting on the installation of Rear Seat Belts for Honda cars, Mr. Fujimoto said that until 2007, Honda Malaysia has sold 132,764 Honda cars of which 25,480 units of them are without Rear Centre Seat Belts. They are the Honda City, which were sold between 2003 to 2005. These cars will receive free installation and the cost will be borne by Honda Malaysia.

The installation of Rear Centre Seat Belts for Honda cars will start in October and will be conducted in batches. Honda Malaysia will inform the owners on further details accordingly.

Perodua MPV to be based on MYVI / VIVA? Longer wheelbase!

Previosly, i had blog a post about Perodua MPV . Today, one of my blog reader Mr5zal had updated me with some information about the Perodua MPV.

According to the Perodua staffs, the MPV will be based on Viva's platform. In another words, may be you can imagine a Viva with longer chasis and wheelbase. They also said something about Kenari Replacement Model.

After hearing this rumour, i guess may be the Perodua MPV we had been rumoured for long is the Kenari replacement model that had grown in size? What model from Daihatsu will Perodua copy this time? Anyone got any clue? Im unsure. Perhaps it is based on Dahatsu Move again.

However, there is another posibility that the Perodua MPV will based on Viva but with longer and wider chasis to make it as large as Toyota Avanza which also produced by Perodua? Will the new Perodua MPV replaced Toyota Avanza? May be Perodua MPV will based on Toyota Sienta?

All this still rumour and im unsure whether it is true. However, Mr5zal told me that he will try get some photo about the Perodua MPV. Perhaps i will update it when it is available.

HONDA CITY 2008 clear spyshot!!! Civic inspired!

I believe most of us already heard about the rumour of new Honda City since May 2008! On May 2008, i also posted the rumour design and specification of the New Honda City. I believe my blog had the earliest information about this Honda City. =P
-
Below are my previous post about new generation Honda CITY:
-
Yesterday, one of the Flickr user, wou1wou2 also posted some undisguished photo of the new 2008 Honda City! And since we can clearly see City emblem in this series of photo, we can comfirmed that it is the new Honda City!
-
It prove my earlier rumour on May 2008 that new City will based on Honda Civic's design! Cool i would say! Whats more, it is based on Euro R CIVIC! Personally, i more prefer EURO R CIVIC over our JDM CIVIC.
-
The photo is believed snapped in Thailand's Honda manufacturing plant as we can see a Thai's non smoking sign in the rear shot of Honda City.
-

-
The front of the New Honda City features alot of element found in Honda FCX Clarity and also Civic Euro R! Perhaps it is produced under same designer as CIVIC and FCX Clarity!
-
The new Honda City look much more American with the front grille design resemble the new Honda Accord. Perhaps the front grille design is Honda's new corporate design.
-

-
The headlight's of the New 2008's Honda City resemble the headlight design found in Civic Euro R and FCX Clarity. The front grille of the City is painted in Silver. Perhaps chrome grille will look better, Honda?
-

-
The rear of the new City resemble the aerodynamic line of Civic with a much more conservative tail light design compare to Civic. However, this design is still owesome in similiar category. It definitely score better than the Vios in terms of exterior look.
-

-
Interior wise, the new Honda City provide a conservative yet comfortable cabin look. The center panel design seems abit boring and personally i will prefer the old one. The audio head unit seems abit plain.
-
The air cond control and air cond vent also same like the type found in older generation Civic which is a drawback. However, one of the reason for the center panel being so plain is cost costing to make this City affordable.
-
Besides that, from the picture, we can also see the Honda City is running a conventional type of gearbox. No gate shifter gearbox will be found in this City. However, this Honda City is powered by 5 speed gearbox! Expect improved fuel economy and performance here!
-

-
The meter panel is nicely lit in red! I love red meter panel! Too bad, my VIOS meter panel is in white/blue. ==
-
From the picture, we can also see a new steering design on this new Honda CITY! Its is the same one found in Honda Jazz. Same with Honda Jazz, this Honda City also will support paddle shift function! Enjoy gear shifting manually from your steering when you want to seek a thrilling experience!
-

-
The seat and interior colour trim in this City is in light cream colour! Perhaps we will get dark interior in Malaysia? Since the current Honda City VTEC also in dark grey while Honda City IDSI is in beige. Honda Malaysia, please bring in dark interior.
-
Personally, i think the arm rest on this Honda City is rather too low. We might not able to rest our hand in this arm rest comfortably.
-

-

-
The new Honda City is powered by Honda's latest i-VTEC technology! One drawback on this new Honda City is that i-Dsi variant will be no longer available. In another words, we might not able to buy a Honda City within RM80,000 budget.
-
In some country, the new Honda City will be available in 2 engine capacity which is 1.3 or 1.5 i-vtec engine. Perhaps Honda Malaysia should bring in 1.3 i-vtec variant to Malaysia to make City's price under 80K? Since we could expect the 1.5 i-vtec variant will be 90K region.
-
For your information, the 1.5 SOHC 4 Cyclinder 16 Valve i-VTEC engine in Honda City is same as the one found in the new Honda Jazz which is just launched few days ago. This engine will able to put out 120ps at 6,600rpm and 145Nm of torque at 4,800rpm.
-

-
The new Honda City is also featured a set of 16 inch sport rim! Perhaps this is due to the Honda City are now capable to put 120ps. For your information, too big rim on small horsepower car will directly affect the fuel economy. However, with City's 120 horsepower capacity, pulling 16 inch rim will not be a problem.
-
Besides that, the rear wheel of the new City's also feature solid disk brake! However, we might see rear drum brake on lower grade variant in City when it is launched.
-
So as conclusion, the new Honda City will be Civic look alike and the size is somehow had been enlarged. With i-DSI variant had been removed, we might see the price of new Honda City be at 90K region. However, if Honda Malaysia launch 1.3 i-VTEC variant, the price might be keep at 80K level.
-
The new Honda City are expected to be launched in Thailand in August or September 2008 and also in some other country. While in Malaysia, some Honda SA inform us that it will be available in end of year 2008.

Honda City 2008 will be launch on September 08 at Thailand!

Yeah! Honda City newest generation code named 2PX will be launch in Thailand in September 2008! The new Honda City in Thailand will be powered by L15A engine which is an SOHC 4 Cyclinder 16 Valve i-vtec engine which generate output 120HP at 6,600rpm and 145 Nm at 4,800rpm!

Below are the specification of new generation Honda City in Thailand, perhaps we might get the same in Malaysia.

When the Honda City is delivered in our Malaysia, maybe the spec will be slightly upgraded. However, i believe Honda will introduce the Honda City barebone S spec to make it competitive as compared to the recently launched Toyota VIOS J spec.
